Matter, weight, density, buoyancy and atoms.

What is Science? Science is a type of enterprise that makes and organizes predictions. What is the Scientific Mehod? The scientific method is 6 steps for a procedure. You can use the scientific methods in your everyday life by doing research. We can do research in our everyday lives. Asking a question is a step to the Scientific method. We can ask a question in our everyday lives.

What is Matter? Matter is anything that takes up space and has mass. What is Volume? Volume is used to explain liters, cubic meters, gallons, milliliters, teaspoons, and ounces. There are many types of units that exist. What is mass? Mass is the number of atoms in it. An example of inches to feet is when you are doing math and trying to find the square feet of a triangle.

What is Density? Density is a measure of mass per volume. Density can be used when your in the pool. If you ever feel like your floating that's because density is making you float. When your in the pool and you have a floatie in your hand and you try to make it go down in the pool that's the density that's pushing it back up.

What is the Periodic Table of Elements? The periodic table of elements is a table of elements ordered by their atomic numbers. Their almost usually in rows. What is an atom? An atom is the smallest part of an element. How are atoms identified? Atoms are identified by their three main atomic particles; protons, neutrons, and electrons. What are the properties of an atom? The properties of an atom are positive charge, no charge, and negative charge. An example of an positively charged particle is a nucleus.

What is a Compound? A compound is a substance when two or more elements come together chemically. What are the different types of compounds? The different types of compounds are Metal, Nonmetal and Hydrogen. How are compounds formed? Compounds are formed when compounds are composed to positive and negative ions. What is a mixture? A mixture is a substance combining two or more different materials together. What are the two types of mixtures? The two types of mixtures are homogeneous and heterogeneous. Homogeneous is the same and Heterogeneous is a type of mixture that components can see.
